Dear Ice Cream Maker:
I realized today that it was a little more than a week ago that you produced the most delicious frozen yogurt I could ever imagine. Further, I realized that, despite having an almost full container of Greek yogurt in the refrigerator, I have somehow restrained myself from indulging in this treat since then. How can this BE?
If you recall, you produced this frozen yogurt twice last week - on the same night. Remember, Elvia loved it so much that, after we finished the first 2 cups, she immediately insisted on trekking back to Whole Foods to buy more yogurt and strawberries? Honestly, I was right there with her.
This frozen yogurt you made is tremendous. You know why I love it? Besides the fact that it is a little fluffy cloud of perfection? You don't need these:
You don't have to fuss with separating egg yolks. Which means you don't have to figure out what to do with the leftover egg whites. Also? You don't need milk. Or heavy cream. Or a vanilla bean.
You know what you do need? Greek yogurt. Sugar. That's it.
This is what it looks like right now.
It will be hanging out in the refrigerator, developing (I hope) a beautiful, sweet tang, to be enjoyed by us with fresh nectarines. I can't wait!!
Your ardent admirer,
Kim
