Blurbing away the time

I am finally close to finishing the Blurb photobook of our wedding. (Still haven't started the honeymoon book... sigh.) I did a lot of research about photobooks and decided on Blurb for a few reasons, one being that most reviews rave about their books having high print quality and a beautiful, sleek look. I am hoping that Blurb - with its reasonably priced 11x13 hardcover books with dust jacket - will deliver. Something.

Silly me, I thought it would be a breeze to pick out my favorite photos, arrange them using the software, and say, Blurb, MAKE MY BOOK! Yeah... now I know why the cost of wedding albums is what it is. So ridiculously time-consuming. Also, how could it be a breeze to pick out my favorite photos when I love them all? That's what you get when you have an amazing photographer I guess.

Here are some of the pages I have made so far.

The cover:

Two-page spread of the bouquet tossing. I love these; my sister is trying her best to get away from the spinning bouquet at all costs and my friend Elvia is hurtling towards the bouquet like a bat out of hell.

(As always, you can click on the photos to see larger images.)

Hopefully I can finish this baby while I still have free time here at my parents' house. Then I think I will leave the honeymoon book to Mark.
