The farmer's market closest to us, while not the best or biggest, has nice vendors and lots of cute dogs roaming about. Today I sampled goat's milk Camembert (runny and really intense) and a chocolate scone (not bad), and I talked to the knife sharpening guy about the best way to sharpen our Shun. I also picked up these chile peppers, having made up my mind to make spicy noodles with eggplant and tofu for dinner.
After the market, I marveled at the beautiful weather (thanks to a few afternoon showers) and took a walk in our neighborhood.
I love this succulent (and the free-spirited landscaper who planted it) ...
... but this path is always my hands-down favorite part of our neighborhood:
