Nectarine love
Incredible bargains on fragrant nectarines were had and now we have more than we can eat! After we get our fill of eating them out of hand, I'm thinking nectarine frozen yogurt. Macerated nectarines with loosely whipped cream and crumbled molasses spice cookies. Nectarine tart. What else sounds good?
I had to take another picture of this unique milk glass bowl, a gift from my grandmother. She said milk glass was fairly inexpensive and common back in her heyday but it is becoming more of a collectors' thing. I saw some really lovely Fenton Hobnail bowls at an antique shop in the Heights on my last visit. That stuff is not cheap! I'm on the lookout for a milk glass cake stand.

Milkglass is a recent discovery for me, too. I really like the hobnail stuff. I gave my bff, Sarah, a hobnail milkglass bowl for her retro bathroom for her bday. I haven't seen anything like this bowl, though. I like it a lot.
