- Make Rose Levy Berenbaum's brioche. (Not as easy as it sounds, unless you're me and your husband willingly does all the work.)
- Enjoy it toasted with scrambled eggs, or toasted and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.
- When the brioche goes stale, slice and soak in a mixture of egg, milk, vanilla, and sugar.
- Fry in butter.
- Swoon.

Things I learned this week
I had always heard that brioche makes the best french toast. I am pleased to confirm: it's true! This is just one of those things you need to learn for yourself.
